Café 1899

The park has a fabulous café situated within the visitor centre, close to the Spring Lane entrance and children’s play areas. Named after the colliery that previously inhabited the site, the café offers stunning views over the park and surrounding areas.

Food and drink

Café 1899 offers a range of hot and cold food and drinks, including 200 degrees coffee, homemade cakes, cooked breakfasts, jacket potatoes and paninis. The menu changes frequently and we use local suppliers and locally sourced food in our dishes.

We offer vegetarian and gluten free options.
